The University of Colorado Denver will host day-long training FEMA-certified training course "Community Resilience" on July 12th from 8:00 am - 5:00 p.m. This introductory (awareness-level) course provides emergency managers, state and local government agency staff and other stakeholder groups with background on natural hazards and an approach to (1) assessing community resilience and (2) developing next steps for improved resilience. Completing the course earns a FEMA certificate and participants are eligible for numerous continuing education credits (IAEM, ASFPM, AICP, etc.) To learn more, and to register for the class, please visit the course homepage
