Downtown Colorado, INc.'s IN THE GAME, a Vibrant Downtowns Event April 10-13, Boulder, is a three day interactive educational experience for rural downtown champions. Take advantage of some great opportunities!
- Challenge Studios are workshops based on a challenge facing a participant or a participant’s community that are designed to transform a community’s difficult challenges and problems into promising opportunities. In the process, the participating communities will be connected into supporting networks and resources; helping them to get the job done.
- Governor's Awards for Downtown Excellence allow communities to celebrate accomplishments and share stories of champions and achievements. Categories include:
- Best Adaptive Reuse or Rehabilitation
- Best Event, Festival or Recurring Activity
- Best New Addition to Downtown
- Best Use of Public Space
- Vicki Mattox Downtown
We also partner with the Congress for New Urbanism Colorado, The CNU Charter Awards have categories for new urbanist development, including Student and Unbuilt Projects.
