We will be holding a virtual APA Colorado Legislative Committee meeting this Friday, March 27, noon to 1:00 PM. See call in information below. Please join us to discuss:

  • Status of the Legislature and Anticipated Next Steps
  • Status of HB20-1095: Water Conservation legislation championed by APA Colorado – APPROVED! Let’s talk about celebrating when we can gather again.
  •  Discuss bills proposed thus far in this session and follow up we can do during the hiatus.
  •  Note Planners Day at the Capitol – POSTPONED
  • Roundtable discussion on Planners and Planning during the pandemic: What we are seeing; what we are doing; and what we can take forward that is applicable to other crises our communities may face.

BI-WEEKLY MEETING INFORMATION:

When: Fridays, 12:00 to 1:00 PM

Where: 1560 Broadway, Ste. 700, Denver (RTD office at 16th and Broadway in downtown Denver). We are meeting on the 7th Floor in the Regional Conference Room. Check in with the Security Officer on the 7th floor and he will point you to the conference room.

The 2020 State of Colorado Legislative Session began  January 8. We will begin this session with a meeting on January 17th and continue our bi-weekly rotation. This day and time worked well this past year so we are going to follow the same plan this legislative session. Both in-person and call-in/video conference options will be available for all meetings. We need representation from across the State, so, please call in if you cannot be here in person. For those who can attend, feel free to bring your lunch.
