The 2017 Planning Partners Conference Steering Committee is looking for fun, interactive, informative sessions on the following topics (panels and other interactive methods preferred):

  • Affordable housing, housing preservation, displacement, and gentrification
  • How are we preparing for an aging population, from transportation to housing and beyond?
  • All things water, from planning to policies
  • Active transportation systems planning and retrofitting suburbia
  • Food equity and food justice, promoting local food systems
  • The interrelationship between housing and transportation: Trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Technology Roundtable: Using data to tell the story, new data sources, and analyses opportunities
  • More extreme climate and disasters - what does this mean for Front Range communities? Resilience and hazard mitigation and ROI
  • Marijuana polices and regulations: Evolving issues and opportunities
  • Planning, public health, and the built environment: What are grant funders looking for?
  • Professional development for students and new professionals
  • Innovative and successful community outreach and planning for equity
  • Leveraging best practices and lessons learned on public/private public works
  • Regional partnerships and collaboration, multi-jurisdictional updates, and networking
