Public Art Bronze Tour & More

The North Central Area is proud to host “Loveland- A Work of Art”, a walking tour of Downtown that will highlight public art, with special attention to bronze sculpture. Loveland is home to dozens of nationally acclaimed sculptors, two bronze foundries and numerous private businesses, which support the fabrication and display of sculpture. Learn about Loveland’s evolution as an art community, the City’s diverse public art collection of (487 individual works!) and the City’s plans for the future.

The tour begins atop the City’s new parking garage for a tour orientation with panoramic views (255 E. 2nd Street, Loveland, CO).

Tour stops:

  • The Bronze Services Foundry to witness a bronze pour
  • Artspace LovelandColorado’s first Artspace campus featuring affordable spaces for artists and creative businesses.
  • Artworks Loveland, the largest studio artist community in Northern Colorado dedicated to advancing the contemporary arts and visual artists showcasing 30 studios and 2 galleries
  • Creatorspace, a makerspace community that not only provides low cost access to tools & workspace, it allows artists to experiment with equipment to paint, play music and wax creative.

The tour will wrap-up at the Museum for more conversation and light snacks. Registrants will then be welcome to visit the Governor’s Art Invitation Art Show on their own in the main Gallery.

  • Members: $17
  • Non Members: $20
  • EPP & Students: $10
