Symposium for Sustainable Infrastructure

The Symposium for Sustainable Infrastructure encore, SSI-2 will focus on "Tools for Responsible Growth." Considering Colorado's growth is projected to increase by 39% to 7.8 million in 2040, infrastructure needs are critical and best practices are needed.

SSI-2 will be held November 3-4, 2017 at the SEECMacAllisterBuilding on the University of Colorado Boulder Campus. The Symposium brings together design and construction professionals, government officials, academics and students from all areas, including private companies, government agencies, utilities and universities.

Speakers include CDOT's Deputy Director, the Mayor of Boulder and top ASCE and APWA National Sustainability professionals will headline a tremendous lineup of technical speakers. Attendance is expected to exceed 200 attendees for two full days of learning and networking. The second day is devoted to ENVISION training that will empower many to assess sustainability projects using tools developed by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure.

Information about ENVISION is available at the ISI website.  Professionals, faculty members and students will be registering for this training. This training is limited to 50 people and 20 slots remain.
