Attendees will learn about the experiences of fellow planners who use their planning principles and techniques in a non-traditional, but no less important manner. These fellow planners will share their experiences in working for the federal government. Attendees will learn how to plan for federal military installations, share best transportation planning practices with state DOTs and communities, share best planning practices with a global audience in developing countries, how to manage the US government’s large real estate holdings, and most importantly how planners working for the federal government strive to keep their client(s) happy and maintain the highest professional and ethical standards.
