Job Description

Logan Simpson, a growing multi-discipline, environmental planning and design firm, is looking for an Environmental Planner to work in our Fort Collins, Colorado office.

The ideal candidate will have proven technical expertise and experience in NEPA documents, permitting, resource management, and travel management. A strong emphasis will be placed on individuals who have experience with electric utilities and renewable energy development. In addition, individuals should have a strong background in managing NEPA documents, and established relationships with federal, state, and local land management and regulatory agencies.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-directed, well-organized, and possess strong written communication skills. Additionally, candidates must have a positive attitude and an open mind towards involvement on a wide range of project types.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Natural Resource Policy, Ecology/Biology, Anthropology, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Studies or closely related field.
5 years minimum relevant consulting or agency experience in NEPA, resource management, travel management, or permitting.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Excellent written/verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and quality control a must!
