Job Description
The Town of Winter Park is seeking an organized individual to perform tasks for the Town’s planning functions. Responsibilities include professional planning support services, subdivision reviews, rezoning applications, landscape and architectural review and development improvement agreements. The position will provide assistance for planning department requests, zoning code enforcement, committee meetings, perform GIS functions and interact with the public on planning matters.
The individual will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography or related field with a minimum of two years planning experience in a municipal setting, resort locations preferred, along with experience with GIS programming. General knowledge of municipal planning processes requiring a combination of skills in research, analysis, public presentation and interpretation of concepts for implementation of the Town Code. A valid State Driver’s License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
