2020 Shared Streets Competition Winners

The APA Colorado Sustainability Committee identified the Shared Streets movement as a critical nexus of physical planning, equity, appropriate coronavirus response, and sustainability, and developed a competition to highlight the best responses. Criteria included a couple of basic questions regarding equitable implementation and planning process description, but left the media and format largely up to the submitters. The two winners were awarded $50 gift cards to local businesses of their choice from the committee and their efforts are being publicized and shared as example for other municipalities to follow.
