In my view, the incredible variety of subject area specializations and vocational niches available in the planning profession are what make having a career in our field so rewarding. My personal and professional experience has spanned socio-economic spectrums of diversity and has included cross-functional duties in municipal settings, leadership responsibilities in private business, and much in between. Southwest Area Representative: James Dickhoff, AICP

I am an American Institute Certified Planner (#30358) and have 13 years of experience as a Municipal Planner for the Town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I have recently accepted the newly created position of Community Development Director with the Town of Pagosa Springs that will oversee the Planning Division, Building and Fire Code Division and new Housing Division. Amanda Kannard, AICP

 

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to be considered for the Denver Metro Representative position on the APA Colorado Board. As a certified planner, active member of APA Colorado and APA National, former member of the APA Colorado Emerging Planning Professionals’ Board, and resident of the City of Denver, I believe I could serve as a strong representative for APA Colorado members located in the Denver Metro area. Britt Palmberg, AICP

I am very excited about the opportunity to continue to serve as one of the two Denver Metro Representatives with APA Colorado. I have practiced as a planning consultant for the last 17 years at Design Workshop, Hoisington Koegler Group, and Rick Planning + Design, working on comprehensive plans, complete streets plans, corridor plans, market and economic studies, and neighborhood and subarea plans for private sector and public sector clients across Colorado and nationwide. 2020 Chapter Bylaws Update The Chapter voted to adopt new Chapter Bylaws in 2019.
