Call for Webcast Proposals
Deadline:  February 17, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.

Want a chance to wow friends and colleagues with a live webinar?
 Think you have a study, project or plan that showcases your organization?

 Then share your knowledge; reveal your talent; enlighten the planning field for FREE!

APA-CO is a member of the Planning Webcast Series, a co-op comprised of APA Chapters, Divisions and the Ohio State University that provides cost-free webcasts to a national audience. APA Colorado is currently soliciting topics for the 2014 calendar year to fulfill our obligation. If you or your organization have a topic that applies to a national audience (i.e, Mobile Populations; Strategies for Aging Communities; Public Art), please consider submitting a webcast proposal on the attached application.

Requirements:
• Topics should have a national reach
• Webcasts are scheduled for 90 minutes (Presentations 60 minutes, 30 minutes Q&A)
• All sessions are scheduled between 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. MST
• Presentations should be prepared in PowerPoint format
• Equipment: Computer with headphones and microphone or computer and phone connection
• CM forms required, submitted by host

Proposals are due February 17, 2014 by 5:00 p.m.

Review Process
The Professional Development Committee will review proposals on:
♦ Overall quality and originality ♦ Practical solutions and application
♦ Relevance to National topics ♦ Presentation skill of speakers
♦ Timeliness of topic ♦ Uniqueness and depth of the presentation

All proposal received by this deadline will be considered for filling all available slots. If it is determined by the Professional Development Officer and the Professional Development Committee that additional proposals are necessary to meet the Chapter’s obligations, a second Call for Webcasts will be issued.
