Come join your fellow planners for a educational and networking event as we tour the Fort Collins Downtown River District. This tour of the actively redeveloping River District in downtown Fort Collins will be led by City of Fort Collins planners, with a focus on urban design, environmental protection, redevelopment, and historic preservation topics. It will start at the Northside Aztlan Recreation Center, head to the Poudre River Whitewater Park to cover environmental protection measures and brownfields mitigation, then along Linden and Willow Streets to highlight multiple award-winning projects, redevelopment zoning, housing, small business support, historic preservation, capital improvement projects, and environmental justice issues. It will wrap up at The Exchange (a mixed-use hub and entertainment district) for socializing and refreshments afterward.
