Spring 2021 Growing Water Smart Workshop: Accepting Applications

Colorado Growing Water Smart:

Integrating water and land use to create resilience

The Sonoran Institute and Babbitt Center for Land and Water Policy are now accepting applications to the Spring 2021 Growing Water Smart workshop. This no cost, virtual workshop held over 3-4 days in May 2021 provides community teams with a range of communications, public engagement, planning, and policy implementation tools to realize their water demand management and watershed health goals.

The impacts of a hotter and drier climate in Colorado have created significant uncertainty around water availability in the coming decades. City and town officials, water providers, and land use planners can increase their resilience to future uncertainty by ensuring that future development is water smart from the start.

Workshop ApplicationDeadline: February 15, 2021, 5:00 PM (MST)
