Community organizers across the Southeast are using national models and methods to improve the quality of life in underserved neighborhoods while also building the capacity of community non-profits and measuring the social impacts of their work.
Community development professionals from Florida, South Carolina, and Alabama will share their experience within a growing community of practice, explore why they selected their methods and how they sustain themselves as non-profits, and illustrate what success looks like in their communities.
The webinar is the sixth in an ongoing Smart Growth Network webinar series, Learning from (and Leaning on) Local Leaders to Revitalize African American Neighborhoods, with staff from U.S. EPA’s Brownfields/Land Revitalization program and Office of Community Revitalization.
