This webinar highlights three communities in Colorado—the City of Colorado Springs, Eagle County, and Ouray County—and their successful approaches to local adoption of wildfire regulations. Attendees will learn about why wildfire regulations are an important tool for addressing risk in the WUI and how each community administers WUI regulations. Speakers will also share insights and perspectives on successful ingredients for adoption and enforcement, including how regulations can be complemented by other WUI mitigation activities.
This webinar is based on a new report from the Community Wildfire Planning Center, Regulating the Wildland-Urban Interface in Colorado—Three Case Studies: Colorado Springs, Eagle County, Ouray County.
