The 19^th Annual Colorado Transportation Symposium is excited to add a mobile tour to this year's program, at10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The 16th Street Mall project is the backbone of our city — our version of Main Street and the catalyst for a great future ahead. Join us to see how we are improving safety and mobility, addressing deteriorating infrastructure and creating more opportunities for the people who live, work and visit the Mile High City. In this walking tour, you will hear about how the City of Denver has engaged with community stakeholders, including blind and visually impaired people, to test and refine a new curbless configuration at the Paver Preview. During the tour, you will also have the opportunity to experience the future of the 16th Street Mall through Oculus VR headsets and learn about overcoming design challenges, business support solutions and more.
