The Planning Institute Certification will be awarded after the successful completion of the 3 core courses and 8 electives. Many of these courses are also eligible for MRE credit. The 3 core courses include; Comprehensive Planning, Principles of Subdivision and Zoning and The Planning Process. All other courses are considered elective, including Land Conservation, Land Surveying & Subdivision Platting, The Law of Planning and others.
